The Interchain Foundation has announced a full overhaul of its ATOM delegation program — a structural evolution for the Cosmos Hub.
The new model introduces objective, automated and stricter criteria. It also reflects a philosophical shift: delegations are no longer historical support, but a strategic lever to strengthen network resilience and long-term health.
This evolution aligns fully with the vision Snow-Fall has defended since entering the ecosystem: operational discipline, transparency, active governance participation and measurable technical contribution.
We believe that this level of rigor should not remain an exception specific to the Hub, but progressively become a standard across the interchain ecosystem, contributing to decentralization that is credible, responsible and sustainable.
Why Snow-Fall Was Not Eligible in the First Cycle
The initial validator selection was based on a snapshot ending December 31, 2025, with performance criteria covering the October–December period.
Snow-Fall launched its Cosmos Hub validator in November.
Our presence in the active set was therefore relatively recent within the evaluation window, which naturally explains our absence from the first cohort.
This was a matter of timing — not misalignment.
Immediate Engagement Since Launch
From the moment we entered the active set, we adopted an active posture.
Since November:
- Continuous governance participation
- 100% governance participation over the last 90 days
- Participation in discussions when relevant
- Regular publications analyzing Cosmos Hub developments
- Ongoing technical contribution
Our approach remains consistent: contribute before expecting.
Infrastructure Contribution Already in Place
We did not wait for delegation support to invest technically.
Snow-Fall already operates:
- ATOM RPC capacity via Lava infrastructure
- Non-custodial bare-metal architecture
- Continuous monitoring
- Commission compliant with ICF criteria
- Target uptime above 99%
- Zero downtime slashes
Some of these elements are not yet fully documented publicly.
They will be formalized before the end of the quarter to ensure full transparency.
Our objective is simple: transform internal discipline into visible and measurable proof.
Q2 Objective: Full Compliance
The redesigned delegation program now operates on quarterly adjustments.
Our target is the next adjustment window.
Before the end of March (Q1), Snow-Fall will:
- Deploy a Hypha Cosmos Hub testnet validator
- Publish a dedicated Hub transparency page
- Expose measurable ATOM RPC metrics
- Document governance participation
- Strengthen infrastructure contributions where relevant
Our approach is structured and deliberate.
We prioritize consistency over haste.
A Coherent Interchain Vision
Our commitment does not stop at the Cosmos Hub.
Snow-Fall operates across multiple networks within the Cosmos ecosystem through:
- Validator nodes
- RPC infrastructure
- Technical services supporting interchain resilience
We view the Hub as a coordination pillar within a broader interchain system.
Our engagement with ATOM fits into this wider framework.
Building for the Long Term
Snow-Fall is a small validator.
But our commitment is long-term.
Every ATOM delegated to disciplined operators strengthens:
- True decentralization
- Network resilience
- Validator set diversity
The direction taken by the ICF reinforces accountability and measurable contribution.
We fully align with this dynamic.
We will be ready for Q2.
