We are now at week 10 out of 52 in the Crypto Race 2026.
The race is still long — and far from decided.

But one thing is already clear:
👉 not all assets are running at the same pace.

At the front, $AKT sets the pace.

Its path hasn’t been smooth — alternating drawdowns and rebounds — but the final trajectory is clear:

Right behind, $TAO confirms its role as a challenger.
After a difficult phase, it accelerates sharply toward the end and re-enters the race with strength.

$ATOM, on the other hand, stays quiet… but consistent.
It holds its position through relative resilience rather than momentum.

And in the middle of this fight: $BTC.

👉 The benchmark is moving forward, but not leading the ranking.
👉 It remains the reference — without dominating the race.

Behind them, the gap is widening:

  • $ETH, $AVAX, $ALGO, $OSMO remain under pressure
  • none show a meaningful recovery so far

👉 Altcoins are not dead.

But:

👉 only a few assets are actually outperforming $BTC
👉 the rest of the market is still trailing behind

This is not a broad altcoin bull market.

CAT 2 enters the ranking this week, although the race has been tracked since January 3rd.
